Here at ECOHS Preschool we believe that young children are naturally curious and enjoy learning. They learn best through their own experiences. A great preschool program must respect each individual level of understanding and unique way of experiencing life. With this in mind, we will provide learning experiences appropriate for the level of the children.

The mission of the ECOHS Preschool:

To provide opportunities for children to develop their whole personalities through:

• experiences in social relationships
• physical development of large and small muscles
• finding acceptable outlets for their emotions
• creative activities which promote skills in problem solving, thinking and reasoning and language

Mother’s Morning Out

• This program is for children 12 months of age and walking by Sept. 1, 2006
• One and two day classes are offered from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Class size is limited to 4 children

Two Year Old Class

• This program is for children two years of age by Sept.1, 2006
• Two and three and four day classes are offered from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Class size is limited to 6 children

Three Year Old Class

• This program is for children 3 years of age by Sept. 1, 2006
• Three and four day classes are offered from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• The class size is limited to 8 children

Four Year Old PRE-K Class

• This program is for children 4 years of age by Sept. 1, 2006
• Four day classes are offered from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• The class is limited to 10 children

Chapel

Chapel time is offered once a week in the sanctuary for the 3 and 4 year old classes to experience Bible stories and prayers and to begin to learn the religious significance of Christian holidays. The clergy of The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit will assist in leading chapel. In addition we will begin each day with a morning prayer during circle time and have a blessing that will be used at snack time.

Spanish

We offer Spanish classes once a week for our 3 and 4 year old classes. This is beginning Spanish with the children learning body parts, simple words, songs and stories.

Tuition and Fees for 2007

• Registration fee: $125
• Family registration: $150
• Mother’s Morning Out Class – 2 days a week: $140/month
• Two Year Old Class 2 days a week: $140/month
• Three Year Old Class 3 days a week: $180/month
• Three Year Old Class 4 days a week: $210/month
• Four Year Old Class 4 days a week: $210/month

Security

Our preschool doors are locked after morning carpool (9:15) and remain locked until afternoon carpool begins. This ensures the safety of all the children in our program. We ask that after 9:15am you enter the preschool through the parish administrators office which is to the far right of the building on the basement level.
