Hello Everyone!

October is here and the days are cooler.  Be sure and send a jacket or coat
with your child for the playground!

October is a busy month and here are a few dates to put on your calendar:

Tuesday, October 7th – Fire Safety Day
Bob Westbrook from the Forsyth County Fire Dept. will be coming to the
preschool to talk about fire safety and  show off a fire truck and fire fighting
equipment!  As always if your child does not attend on Tuesday, you and your
child are invited to come and participate in the fire safety activities.  We
expect Mr. Westbrook at 9:30 and he will be with us for an hour.

Thursday, October 9th – Individual Fall Photos
We will be making individual fall photos of the children and their siblings.
If your child does not attend on this day you are welcome and encouraged to
bring your child for photos at the times mentioned below.

MMO & Two’s – 9:30 am
Three’s –        10:30am

We will be rotating the classes in for photos during these times also.  A proof
sheet will be provided approximately 10 days after the photos are taken in order
for you to choose your favorite photos!

Wednesday, October 29th – The Pumpkin Patch
We will be going to First United Methodist Church to visit their pumpkin patch,
have story time and have a snack.  We will leave the preschool at 10:15 in order
to be at the Methodist church by 10:30.  Watch for further information in your
child’s backpack.

Thursday, October 30th – Halloween Parties
For all classes we will have Halloween parties and trick or treating from class
to class.  Please send your child dressed up in something child appropriate for
trick or treating.  The Halloween parties will be at 11:00.  Your child’s
teacher will be sending more information as the day approaches!

Please know that I try diligently to spread the activities out.  Throughout the
year I will work to make sure that the field trips are evenly spread out between
each day of the week and that all children are included!  If you have any
